So many people lose their priceless data (photos, contacts, etc) because they simply don't know their Google password. Make sure you keep up with this in case you ever need to recover your data or account.

Now that you know your Google password (for sure), download the Google Photos app.

This app is used to back up photos, but shares 15GB of storage with your email and Google drive.

If you have a lot of super important data, you may want to pay the small monthly fee to save over 15GB. As of this writing, it's only $2 a month for 100GB.

So, say you choose not to go this route and something happens to your phone that contains all your priceless data.... It's going to cost so much more if you have to pay a professional data recovery service to recover your pictures or other info.
